A story of redemption… The only café open on the holiday, Little Peacock was given another chance, & the experience was a great relief. The service was simply top notch, & a lovely time was had by all. The food was rich & fresh, & the portions very full. It isn’t often the story goes from one end to the other, it was a pleasure to have been part of this one.

Perfectly hidden away on the corner of Breese and Hope street is this delish café. The staff a really friendly and the menu has a great selection. I had the breakfast burger, which was absolutely delicious! It’s a shame I didn’t get a photo of it to share, but the second it came out I devoured it! Coffee if great too! If you’re passing by you should definitely stop and have meal or coffee.

Decent food, not justifiable for the same price point as Melbourne’s plethora of brunch spots. Nothing really special about the restaurant. I had the smoked salmon omelette, it felt like something you would cook at home not order in a restaurant; don’t take away from the fact that it still tastes good. I would come back here for a casual brunch but definitely not something I would specifically go to Sydney road for due to the many better choices to brunch there is in Melbourne. More like a 3.5 than a 3.

Saw this newly opened café as I was driving by one day and decided to drag the family out to try it. Wasn’t disappointed. The menu is interesting and varied. I had the baked eggs which was quite nice and my husband had the medley of mushrooms which he thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered ham and cheese toasties for the kids and were greeted with enormous slabs of good quality ham and cheese, great value for $ 5. The coffee was very good too, so all in all an excellent experience. Well priced and nice surrounds. Check it out!

This gorgeous café recently opened in Brunswick and already the crowds are flocking! The beautiful modern interior makes Little Peacock so welcoming yet chić. With the breakfast menu running all day, you can’t go wrong. I chose the smashed avocado dish minus the bacon and it certainly didn’t let me down! The coffee was smooth and delicious and they offer my favourite type of sugar which is a huge plus! This family friendly café had a really great vibe and the staff were lovely. The wagyu beef burger looked amazing — I can’t wait to go back and try it. This café really ticked all the boxes for me and they accept cash or card — rejoice!
