This lady resides at the end of my street and thus far I have struggled to review her even after a few visits. Coffee– excellent. Ambience — excellent. Love the courtyard and garden. Menu choice — good. Nothing amazing but not bad either. Staff — patchy. A bit pot luck. Have had excellent and also very average. Food. This is the clincher. This is the place where I struggle. Average. Nothing special. Ok. And really, given the size of their kitchen I’m amazed they can pump out anything more than beans on toast anyway. I have tried a few things here and they have all been a bit too try hard, a bit go hum. I’m hoping that this is just teething and it will improve as time goes on because otherwise, this Lady has a lot going for it.
