A great atmosphere now with a lounge/​bar area which compliments the traditional Italian menu. My favourite is the three cheese gnocchi.

I think Zia’s is the classiest restaurant on the strip down this end of Lygon St. Top notch food. Small but great wine list. Quiet and a little bit upmarket. Quick and attentive service. A little pricier than other places in the area, but well worth it. Try the pork belly, and everything on the specials board.

Excellent Italian food covering traditional pastas and tasty mains like quail and rabbit. It had friendly staff and I would definitely go back again. The prices were about $ 30 per main dish. Probably my favourite Italian restaurant in Brunswick after Piazza 51 closed. It has nothing in common with the touristy Italian places on the Carlton-​end of Lygon Street.
