Always was curious about this hole in the wall but never bothered to try it. It changed hands sometime last year from Shang Hai Ling to Bamboo Garden. Tonight I had a craving for chinese hot and sour soup so we thought we’d try it. Chinese menu plus vietnamese menu. Then new owner is from Shanghai originally but maybe there are some Vietnamese kitchen staff to connect the dots– either way we are happy with the choice. Fresh rice paper rolls where you could tell it was made to order. The vegie dumpings were awesome — real flavour. Szechuan hot & sour soup hit the spot for me and husband ordered salt n pepper tofu which were perfect. I’d like to go back with some friends and try some of their specials like steamed whole fish or the duck.
