This place is excellent for grabbing muesli supplies. Shopping here is easy — the first step is to grab a basket, a pen and a couple of paper bags. Then browse the plastic dispensers, find what you like, put as much as you want in the bag, and write the code on the bag. You then get charged by weight. I also disagree with the first review that this place is expensive. There are some expensive items(but those same things are also expensive everywhere) but all the basics are really reasonably priced. Every time I have been here the staff have been friendly and chatty.

Naked Foods is a health conscious persons dream. There are lots of containers with fresh and raw produce. You basically get a paper bag and help yourself to what you like. The price is determined by weight. Each item must be placed in an individual bag. You need to write the code that corresponds to that item on the paper bag so the cashiers can charge accordingly. They have a lot of items to choose from ranging from: nuts, seeds, fruit, chocolate, raw sugars, oils, crackers. Definitely can go crazy in this place — there are so many fresh ingredients in there!

No way this is more than $$, even if you’re on that cup noodle diet. This place is v reasonably priced, and not just for Oxford St /Sydney /Australia. If your palate or digestive system reject food for basics, this shop is a must have. If you want dark chocolate covered coffee beans to get through the day, naked has it covered. If you want chocolate covered macadamia to soothe your tattered nerves, get your scoop on at naked. If you need some seeds, spices, grains, flours, nuts, oils, etc in the form mother nature intended without the packaging, you know where to go. Unit price generally less than chemically versions in other shops. Note: their pricing for certain items ridiculous do look in adjacent bin if something seems relatively steep. Country of origin and organic status checked, and still no answer as to why simple variations(salted vs unsalted, milk vs dark chocolate) would make such a difference in price.

I actually invented the concept of this store about ten years ago in my mind ago sadly my dollarmite savings weren’t enough to execute this brilliant idea. So you can imagine my mixed feelings when this store popped up– a) this IS a great idea, how handy for me to shop at, but b) this IS a great idea and if only I had enough money in my dollarmite account, the millions could have been mine. My mixed feelings remained mixed as I walked into the store. They have a great selection of all sorts of different foods from nuts to flours to supplements, spices, even honey and maple syrup! Unfortunately this place is also pricey with a capital $$$$. I left empty handed and but also feeling upbeat with plans to open my own place with a similar concept but with much more reasonable prices(once I get enough dollarmite savings)
