Mayan Coffee has turned around my feelings on a flat white. As an American I am used to drinking dark strong black coffee. So when I moved to Australia and encountered the ubiquitous flat white it took some getting used to. Just as I was starting to get a little bored with a flat white (it does have the word flat in the title) I started drinking coffee with chilli and cardamom as recommended by the lovely baristas at Mayan Coffee at the Orange Grove farmers market. What a kick in the morning! The chilli and cardamom perfectly compliment the espresso and we all know milk goes well with spicy foods: perfection in a mug. To be honest I might be a little addicted to them.
Also try their chili cardamom chocolate brownies. So delicious.
