Had a office function here and quite impressed with food and service. Décor is a bit dated but comfortable. Well priced and good variety. Convenient parking right outside the door.

A few years ago we would treat ourselves to a sit in meal. The presentation and food was excellent. Prices went up and we stopped eating in and just got take away. Tonight we decided to eat in. The service was excellent, the food was very good, plenty of it but the prices are not cheap. I think the menu has been developed for the non Thai taste which is a little disappointing. The entertainment is watching for the flash of the combined speed/red light camera at the intersection just outside the windows of the restaurant.

Unfortunately Money Bag Thai has gone downhill a bit lately… They used to do some of the best tasting Thai around but the last few times I’ve been there it has been a bit on the bland side. Unlike some of the other reviewers I’ve never gotten sick there or seen anything unhygienic — its just lacking in flavour thats all.

I have got food poisoning from this place before, a while ago but still. Would not recommend for quality thai! Service was ok, food was ok but nothing to brag about in retrospect.

Cheap as chips and it’s always busy, but seems to be listed all the time for the lack of hygiene and safety standards. Wouldn’t head here if I was starving

Best Thai in the area. Order the money bags for entrée(it’s a must right?) and then your usual Thai dish for a main, everyone has one right? Green curry, red curry, Pad Thai — it’s all good.

When Money Bag Thai opened it seemed that every second restaurant to open in Castle Hill and Baulkham Hills was a Thai restaurant. There was plenty of competition so it was a while beofre I got around to it. I wish I had tried it sooner as it is fantastic quality and leave several others floundering in its wake. The restaurant are fitted out with Thai decorations, a large photo of the Thai Royal family hangs pride of place at the rear of the restaurant. You can dine in or take away or if you’re really lazy(like me) you can have the meal home delivered. The money bags on the menu are delicious — you would hope so! There is a lovely entrée called Duck Herbs which has shredded duck and coriander rice dredged in chilli oil, really tasty. They also make a Healthy Mushroom Stir Fry which is a wonderful vegetarian dish continaing tofu and mushrooms, cashew nuts and soy sauce. Most of the meals are light and you don’t leave with an uncomfortable bloated feeling. The only thing I have to complain about is that the girls, as nice as they are, aren’t able to speak English better. It’s Thai-rrific.
