A great café to go to if you have kids, as there is a little fenced in playground right next to the café and it’s gorgeous! However it does make the main outdoor seating area a little noisy, so if you’re childless you’re probably happier sitting in the smaller outdoor area further away from the playground, or inside. I ordered the big breakfast, which comes with a free coffee. It was lovely! The eggs were cooked well, the only thing was my sourdough was very dry and oh so hard after toasting! I didn’t end up eating it. But overall the breakfast is definitely worth the money, especially with the free coffee. The playground is awesome so my kids love going here, I can have a lovely coffee and supervise them enjoying themselves too. Win/win!

Been to this café a half a dozen times, great food and really quick service, friendly staff every time, can’t fault it really… it’s also only 5 mins from my house and there’s a great play area for the kids and heaps of parking as it backs into the mall’s lot… so handy!

I’ve driven by a million times so at last I’ve parked the car! A devotee of Little Rock Café at North Rocks I could see that they have a common mantra. Friendly staff, indoor dining and the option for enjoying the outdoors under the big awning. So that’s all good. When I opened the menu I seemed to be in a totally different place. There is far less choice here which was disappointing. Nevertheless my berry compote on ricotta and sourdough was a light and delicious way to start the day, but I must admit that sitting outdoors right on Old Northern Road was quite noisy.

I have never had any problem with this incredible café that lies 15 minutes away from my house. The only issue I occasionally have is that I forget to make a booking sometimes, something you CANNOT do because it is impossible to get a table on weekends. Trust me, that alone indicates how tasty this place is. Fantastic service, haven’t gotten a single order wrong, or forgotten one yet! Delicious range of breakfast and lunch options, though my favourite are their thick cut toasts(which are the size of 2 toasts in one) and pancakes, which are fluffy and perfectly sweetened. My family and I love this restaurant so much that we ALWAYS visit it, at least once a month and for majority of birthday breakfasts!

We came for coffee. What we got was burnt and really unpalatable, but really makes you appreciate when you get good coffee from somewhere else. It also makes you realise that despite having Campos coffee, this is not a whole solution for good coffee — you also need baristas that are happy to be there and enjoy their work enough to make good coffee.

I regularly eat breakfast at Little Rock and have to say that they are consistently good. On a weekend it can get packed and the quality and service can suffer so I tend to head there on weekdays. The staff are really friendly and I found the coffee to be really good. Only downside is the size of the smoking area and the fact that even the non smoking bit outside cops all the smoke as well. And while I’m sure having a playground next to the café is great for parents it also makes the place quite noisy! Don’t confuse this place with the other Little Rock down the road at North Rocks — different owners and this place is much much better than the other one.

I was just after a quick coffee, but I was lucky to get a table. This place gets insanely busy on weekends it seems. Having a quick glance at the menu and some of the plates that were going out of the kitchen, it seems like the portion sizes are pretty generous. Wonder if that has anything to do with it? Given the *cough* quality of my coffee, I doubt it is the draw card here, That said, I am starting to realise that only a few people order macchiatos, and unfortunately even fewer can make them well. What I got here was a good example of too much milk and too much froth. Quite a pity really as it is possible to get a good cup of coffee using Grinders… in the right hands… Café Summary — — — — — — — — Passion for Coffee — 6⁄10 Coffee beans — Grinders Crema(1=burnt, 10=velvet) — 6⁄10 Special coffees avail? — N/A

So much potential unrealised. This café in Stockland Mall has prime position with seating both inside and out but they are just missing the mark. Employing a series of uni students and on the weekend, high school kids, they need to tell them that they are in the service business. The food is great, they have a lovely smoked salmon salad and they do great pasta but getting the right people and spending some time on he floor with the customers may help. The owners(who work on different shifts) stay close by the register and the kitchen and never mix with the customers. Occasionally you will get a smile from whoever is serving you but its rare. If you go there past 2.30pm they hurry you up because they have to wash the floor or clean tables. The coffee could be better, I’ve never had a good cup yet. I don’t know what brand they use, they don’t have any signage that Ive seen so I presume they use some catering pack or their coffee machine needs a good clean. There’s a childrens paly area next to the café so mums can watch the little ankle biters while enjoying a cold drink with friends. My score: Could do better.
