Treehouse is a weekly staple at my place, we have headed to treehouse nearly every weekend since I moved to St Kilda. The theme of the café is… You guessed it a treehouse, complete with wood pellet walls, creeping vines and a tucked away room that makes you feel like you are hiding away from reality for a while.
While the décor is fun and enticing, the reason you stay is the amazing food! My favorite meal of the day is brunch and quite simply treehouse smashes it! Baked eggs, fluffy pancakes, smashed avocado the list rolls on. But don’t forget sides like homemade relish, béchamel hash browns and my favorite halloumi!
If brunch is not your thing (we can’t be friends) then you have plenty of other options, like delicious pizzas, calamari or succulent beef burger with fries. Either way treehouse has you
covered and you should be adding this place to your list of regulars! Enjoy, I certainly do!

Go to place on Carlisle st for weekend brunch. The staff are really friendly, the service great, coffee awesome and food delicious. Definitely go the avocado with pomegranate or the baked eggs! If you like sweets try the pancakes– but they are full on! Their specials are normally pretty amazing too and the Portuguese tarts at the bar are on point! Atmosphere is cool and chilled and they have lots of different tables options to suit your fancy. Pizzas for dinner are pretty amazing too.

This place is awesome! Extremely friendly staff, very chic styling and layout, rough cut sawn timber lining boards, fairy lights, soft furnishings, low lighting, hip tracks, cool drinks and sensational food. Great for meetings and face to face get togethers. Treehouse lounge is active on social media and gains great reviews. Thoroughly recommend that you try out this venue and share your views, was introduced by a fellow Unilocaler, and glad he shared, cheers

A nice corner bar/​café with attentive staff, this place has the workings and location of a good café. Compared to the more established cafes in the area the food and coffee doesn’t quite make the cut for the price they charge. Nevertheless still a good place for an evening beverage.

I love this place and come here all the time! Good coffee, delicious breakfast served until the afternoon, awesome happy hour and pizzas and tapas to wow. Seriously, no matter what I’m feeling like they almost always have it.

My gym crew we train together and we also like to eat together … It can be difficult when you’re training but the crew have found a spot that caters to nutritional needs as well as taste. After missing a few catch ups I finally got there today for a well deserved breakfast after gym.
I opted for the shashuka but most of my fellow diners were insistent that the sweet potatoe rosti with bacon was the way to go. My shashuka was great and didn’t make me feel envious of the rosti but it does make me think I’ll have to try it next time.
The tree house is inviting warm and lives up to its name with very tree themed décor from the tables to the hanging decorations. The venue is also very versatile great for large groups on long extended trestle tables as well as smaller tables for more intimate affairs.
Menu is varied with ample choices for all dinners from breakfast through to dinner and tapas in between. Look out for 2 for 1 cocktails during the week.

I am a regular, Tuesday for pizzas and Saturday for breakfast. So friendly, the staff take great care of you and nothing is too much trouble. The cocktail list is very good and clearly the focus, the wine and beer is solid but not mind blowing.
