Take a step back in time and enjoy the laid back atmosphere of this old-​school tattoo shop located on Samford Road in Alderley. The staff here are really cruisy and very talented. They specialise in (in my opinion) real tattoos — an old fashioned style based on the work of Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins.
The shop is decorated with loads of drawings (a lot of these pieces are hand drawn by the staff) of snakes, wild cats, eagles, nautical stars, pirate ships and pin-​up girls. You can choose a design from the ones available in-​house or have something drawn up. Once you’re ready to be inked you just sit back, listen to some funky tunes and enjoy the experience.
The prices are really reasonable — make sure you book ahead as it can get pretty busy, especially on weekends. Ask for Ben — wicked artist!
