Little Miss Miami Crabshack

I stopped here for a pre-​show bite before one of pur Adelaide Fringe perfomances.
I love the vibe this place it putting out there. Typical of the latest trend towards Americana from the funky façade with neon lights to the plastic baskets used to serve snacks. It kinda made me feel I was on the set for Gilligan’s Island or Popeye.
The staff were friendly and whent out of their way to make our experience a good one. I especially loved the jugs of sangria.
There were some menu items unavailable which was dissappointing but I enjoyed my meal and when in Adelaide again I would probably go back.

The crab shack is a little olé place where we can get together. Crab shack babeeeee. Yeah… ok, that’s Love Shack. But there’s plenty of love going round here. Especially crab love. The menu is full of delectable delights.
I sampled the soft shell crab taco and the pulled pork nachos. So delicious!
I was here on a Sunday afternoon and it was such a brilliant atmosphere. Music pumping away, but not too loud for conversation. A magnificent, unique and entertaining oasis from shopping. The décor is so interesting and so even if you’ve picked a companion of little conversation, you’ll have plenty to look at and talk about here.
The epitome of good service was shown when I ordered a burger. A staff member apologetically came to our table explaining they’d run out of buns therefore the wait might be a little longer than usual while they got some more. He offered to change our order. We’d just had food envy from people at the next table and were in a tight timeframe so we ordered nachos and he offered us a complimentary taco for the trouble. A couple of minutes later the buns arrived, so he apologised for interrupting us but asked if we wanted to switch back. We didn’t and he still brought the taco. I just think that’s brilliant service.
The bar staff were friendly, prompt and enthusiastic too. Plus they make a mean margarita! This place is going to be jumping during Fringe!
