Palacio Duhau/Park Hyatt Buenos Aires

My partner and I both travel frequently for work and leisure, each staying in hotels for 200+ nights/​year. We’re both Diamond with Hyatt and on a recent vacation to Buenos Aires, we stayed at the Park Hyatt. Once again, it was the perfect getaway. After having stayed at this hotel 15+ times over the past few years it has become one of our favorites. Even though it’s a large hotel, the staff are always friendly and very helpful taking time to understand the individual preferences of each guest. A special thank you to Mercedes for all your help and suggestions about the city; thank you to the concierge, Jessica, for helping with a special meal request (even though the hotel was outside of the restaurant delivery zone), and thank you to Paula and your housekeeping staff for accommodating our many requests and the beautiful bouquet of flowers — it made our day!

Love this place.
Market just blocks away. Plenty of historical things to see in area. Stayed for a working trip and expensive but for holiday would go again.
For work, many other affordable options.

After trekking the Patagonian Glaciers, this place place was definitely a treat. The gardens are beautiful, staff is friendly, and all the amenities you can imagine. It’s also walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
My suite included a shower stall and a soaking tub.
Book ahead and try to get a deal (unlike me). This hotel is expensive.

Fuimos a tomar el té al salón Piano Nobile con mi novio para nuestro aniversario.
El lugar es espectacular. Desde la terraza del salón se tiene una vista privilegiada de los jardines del hotel. El lugar es elegante pero para la hora del te la gente estaba arreglada pero informal.
Pedimos un té Piano Nóbile que pudimos compartir, pagando sólo la bebida adicional.
El té consistía en un scon, una cookie y una magdalena, unos MINI sandwichitos (muy ricos pero eran realmente mini) y seis mini tortas a elección.
El té que ofrecen es de Tealosophy y el café de Nespresso. Además incluye un agua mineral y una copa de espumante.
Como detalle final nos regalaron un macaron a cada uno.
Pensamos que entre dos el té nos iba a quedar justo y que iba a ser más que nada una degustación. Pero la verdad es que nos costó terminarlo. Estaba todo riquísimo, de excelente calidad y va perfecto para dos personas, salvo los sandwichitos que se quedan cortos en tamaño. No es barato, pero el servicio que ofrecen es muy bueno. El lugar lo vale y de vez en cuando viene bien darse un gusto, sobre todo en ocasiones especiales.
La atención fue muy cordial, tanto cuando hice la reserva como en el lugar.

En esta ocasión pasé la tarde en los jardínes del Palacio Duhau dentro del marco de DJ Summer Sessions que se lleva a cabo los jueves de verano, entre más 18 y las 20.30 horas. El paisaje es absolutamente encantador y si le sumamos la propuesta veraniega del hotel que incluye tragos y bruschettas, mucho mejor.
DJ Summer Sessions se compone de dos tragos y 6 bruschettas por persona. Los tragos son dos: Aperol Spritz y Martini. Las bruschettas son tres: de salmón ahumado, de jamón crudo y boconccinos y de champignones. El precio es de $ 420 lo que me parece un poco elevado al no tener más a disponibilidad pero si tenemos en cuenta donde estamos, entonces lo vale.

This is indeed as good as it gets, in my perhaps not-​so-​humble opinion. Set in a palace in the middle of leafy Recoleta, you will be in the world’s greatest hands while enjoying top-​notch service, friendly staff, exquisite gardens, and a relaxing spa.
Breakfast, served in Gioia or Piano Nobile, was a perfectly enjoyable buffet spread of fresh fruits (nearly a dozen each day!), smoked meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, a pastry counter, eggs, hot vegetables, and breakfast meats, deliciously fresh juices, Nespresso coffee service, and a wide variety of tea. On top of that, you can order a la carte egg dishes – I highly recommend the poached eggs, which are like liquid gold at Park Hyatts worldwide.
Piano Nobile is a must for drinks (the lavender revenge is to die for, quite literally), lunch in the sunshine, or afternoon tea. Do get coffee service as it comes with an elegant array of macarons – just enough sweet to finish a meal or sitting. One can opt to sit inside an airy room, in the library, or on the terrace overlooking the terraced gardens with a cascading modernist water feature. Everything was manicured beautifully, but also felt welcoming and relaxing – a sumptuous blend of formal and informal moments. The Luigo Bosco savignon blanc and the Zapata Angelica chardonnay, both from Mendoza, are wonderfully drinkable afternoon wines. Trust me, my boyfriend and I know all about this. ;)
We did not have the occasion to try dinner service at the hotel, outside of room service on January 1^st when we were recovering from an exquisite 5-​hour, 7-​course dinner the night before. Room service was prompt, spot on, and very reasonably priced. In fact, even if the rooms can get quite pricey, the hotel is reasonable in every other way. If you are a Hyatt Gold Passport member with points to spend, the cash + points is far and away the best approach and it has to be one of the best values in the company worldwide.
Our suite came with butler service and our main butler, Pilar, was terrific. Also, the entire concierge team went above and beyond, making just perfect restaurant recommendations from an award-​winning Latin American restaurant (iLatina, another review coming for that…) to local seafood and steak houses. You will not go hungry; au contraire, you will need to head to the gym to work off the daily overindulgences in delicious good and wines of the region.
The spa was a perfect relaxing place to enjoy a workout, swim laps in the indoor pool, and enjoy the sauna and whirlpool areas. Try the herbal tea infusions as well. And the staff, oh the staff at the spa and throughout the hotel were marvelous. Truly marvelous.
In a word this hotel is perfection. Fresh off the plane, it is already time to plan a return visit. Thank you Park Hyatt-​Palacio Duhau for making a truly remarkable end to 2015 and beginning to 2016.

Beautiful place and extremely nice room. Check-​in today was not so great. I will be here a few days and will detail further.

This hotel is beautiful. We stayed here for our honeymoon and the service was top notch from the moment we set foot here. Our butler Pilar have us great recommendations for meals that were local, yet not touristy. The hotel restaurants were amazing as well. I recommend the meat tasting at Duhau Restaurante y Vinoteca. It’s a great experience.
The concierge sent us champagne and chocolates to celebrate our honeymoon on top of greeting us with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit upon arrival. Since it was Thankgiving, the nightly turndown service left us mini pecan pies, which added just the perfect touch.
I highly recommend this hotel and experience if traveling to BA.

This is s magnificent location and the surrounding area is palatial indeed. Service is world class, food superb, and the grandeur worthy of luxury casual travel or high end business trips.
Of all the Hyatt locations I’ve stayed throughout the planet this one hits top ten without a doubt. Local shopping for wine, clothes, perfume, and even tourist oriented gifts is tough to beat!

What’s not to love!!! Service is beyond amazing, food is delicious and not over done. It screams first class without being snobby! The décor is amazing in the hotel. Every detail you can see is well thought out and with the viewer in
Mind! It’s a place to not miss having lunch at!!!

Este lugar es un sueño. No estuve alojada en el hotel sino que fuimos anoche al evento «Noche de las Bodegas», donde recorrimos los dos edificios del hotel y el magnífico jardín que los separa, degustando vinos de alta gama de bodegas seleccionadas y probando platos de sus restaurantes. Fue un evento abierto, es decir que cualquiera podía acceder (previo pago, por supuesto).
No me arrepiento en absoluto, fue una gran manera de conocer el hotel, tomar vinos exquisitos y comer platos riquísimos.
Increíble la atención y la calidad de todo lo que brindaban.
Para recomendar y volver.

Siempre el máximo nivel en todo, la noche de bodegas no es menos si no mas, si es que es posible que este lugar sea mas fantástico de lo que ya es.

Desde el momento que ingresas por las escalinatas de mármol, la ambientación y la atención, todo es perfecto y excelente.
Tuve la suerte de disfrutar una de las degustaciones de quesos y vinos, al lado de la cava en la antesala, excelente todo desde el trato recibido hasta la informacion con detalle que te brindan, los vinos y quesos excelentes muchas variedades, y lo que mas me gusto es que refuerzan el mercado Argentino. El ambiente no es con el que mas me identifico pero la verdad que estando con amigas eso no es importante. Pero lo mejor del Palacio Duhau sin dudas es su jardín que mezcla el clásico con el moderno de manera armoniosa. Volveré para los eventos de verano en la terraza.

No tuve la suerte de hospedarme en el hotel o visitar el spa, solo fui para algunos eventos empresariales por lo que mi visita fue acotada al salón de eventos y la organización.
Desde esta experiencia acotada puedo decir que el lugar es bellisimo y la atención es excelente.
Todo el equipamiento funcionó perfecto, las instalaciones son muy comodas y los empleados del hotel son muy serviciales.
No sé si hacen brunch, pero me encantaría ir al parque a desayunar porque es precioso!

Hace poco fui a desyunar. No les voy a mentir, es caro, pero lo cierto es que las cosas son muy ricas, la atencion de 10 y el lugar es simplemente increible. En definitiva sali con la sensacion de haber pagado un precio justo para lo que ofrecía.

Estuve un jueves en lo que llaman #DJwintersessions que es una serie de «eventos» que hacen todos los jueves de invierno en el Palacio Duhau. El menu consta de sushi libre y tragos con espumante libres tambien.
El precio, si bien no es barato es mas que razonable para la calidad del sushi y los tragos! Aparte se puede optar por cualquier bebida sin alcohol tambien libre.
La atencion increible, el lugar vale la pena, la comida excelente! El ambiente no era con el que mas identificada me siento pero la verdad que estando con amigas eso me resulto poco importante!
Nos contaron que en verano van a armar algo similar pero con tapas y spritz en la terraza!

While you are there, you are the master of the castle.

Lo lindo de ir a cenar en los hoteles es que uno está de viaje pero en la ciudad. Se puede vestir lindo sin que cause atención en los demás y atravesar el lobby como si uno fuera un pasajero mas (ojala!), de cualquier modo, me convocó la fondue. Como esperaba a mi mujer, me fui al primer nivel a relajarme mientras me tomaba un Aperol Spritz ($ 150) y escuchaba la música del piano. O no lo entendí o no se, no terminé de conectarme al Wifi del hotel pero segui navegando con 4G de Movistar que tenia buena señal ahi. Algo que rescato es que como mi mujer llegaba tarde, pedí que le avisaran que la mesa se iba a demorar y así fue. Algo que destaco de los hoteles es la hospitalidad, el uso de las palabras pero sin sonar forzado. Por suerte mi mujer llegó antes y me avisaron a mi. El restaurante tiene una elegante decoración, correcta pero no deslumbrante. Había tres fondue, una con base de gorgonzola, otra con un queso Lincoln y otra con una base de un queso ahumado con base de torrontes. muy jugada pero muy rica; con un dejo dulce pero interesante. La Fondue para 2 personas, ($ 500). Venía complementada con unos croutones de pan, salchichas creo que eran las Campo Austral y unos papines. La novedad fueron unas bolitas (por que decirle esferas es de wannabe) de manzana. ésto ultimo no me cerró mucho. El tamaño era adecuado. La fondue es algo que uno quiere mas, pero éste caso estaba bien. Sirven agua mineral Gota ($ 80) y café expresso ($ 60). Yo tomé una copa de vino espumante Luigi bosca brut nature ($ 120) por que ahi te aclaran que champagne es otra cosa, obviamente. Respecto de lo dulce, honestamente la carta tenía un monton de cosas sacadas de alguna década pasada como Don Pedro, o banana con dulce de leche. No se si lo deconstruyen o que pero no me interesó ni medio. Estuvo muy bien la experiencia, personal atentos, sin ser cargosos. Sevicio impecable. Un ejemplo es que te sirven media copa para que no se te enfrie. Detalle importante pero no menor. Por ultimo los precios… son un poco exágerados incluso para un hotel. el precio de la fondue esta bien, pero es todo lo demás que fue de promedio varias veces.

Uno de mis lugares favoritos en toda ciudad!
A veces uno tiene que darse el gusto y disfrutar de lugares exclusivos como este por que la vida es demasiado corta! Jauaja
Bien, la primera vez que fui a Palacio Duhau, me invitó un amigo que no podía creer que yo viviendo tan cerca no conocía el Park Hyatt. Bien, no lo conocía, y hasta hoy me alegro de haber conocido este lindo lugar y haber pasado tan lindo.
La atención es la mejor, el lugar de verdad es un palacio! Muy elegante y cheto, pero igual me sentí a voluntad y muy cómoda allá.
Mi amigo y su amigo pidieron café. Como a mi no me gusta el café, eligí un licuado que estaba super rico!
El café viene acompañado de macarrons más que ricos! Los mejores que he probado en toda mi vida!
Pero lo mejor del Palacio Duhau sin dudas es su jardín que mescla el clásico con el moderno de manera increíblemente harmoniosa. El verde del céspede es maravilloso y las rosas muy bien cuidadas hacen el jardín ser más que especial!
Volví esta semana a llevar una amiga de Brasil que me vino visitar y pasamos lindo igual!
Los precios por supuesto no son los más atractivos, pero de verdad vale la pena por la calidad y la buena atención! Lo mejor!

Cené en Piano Nobile, dentro del Palacio Duhau.
Es excelente para tener una cena «rápida», ya que los platos no son demasiado elaborados, sino más bien sándwiches, ensaladas, ese tipo de comida. Si es eso lo que buscan, no duden en ir.
La cena fue riquísima. Compartimos una entrada que era una ensalada de hojas verdes, frutas asadas (distinguí higos y peras) y burrata, que es una crema de queso, condimentado con oliva.
Los platos principales fueron un panini de queso azul con hongos y pimientos que estaba delicioso. Super recomendable. Venía acompañado por papas fritas que estaban muy bien hechas, súper crocantes.
El otro plato que pedimos fueron unos huevos revueltos sobre pan de campo, con hongos salteados y papines.
De postre, degustación de sorbettes, muy ricos.
El ambiente es muy sobrio, claro, pero lindo, y tiene unas vistas a los jardines del palacio que son indescriptibles. Recomiendo cenar en la terraza.

Yes, the location is amazing. You’re in the palace next to the Archbishop’s, the new Pope’s former digs. There is good shopping and entertainment within walking distance.
The gardens are gorgeous, and they take good care of them. The entire property is well-​maintained. I have sat in on the maid’s cleaning routine, and this place is thoroughly scrubbed from top to bottom daily.
You can stay on the palace side or the more modern side. In our case, we had a high floor suite on the latter. The floor to ceiling louvered windows afford a charming view of La Recoleta, and the layout of the suite was very practical. Sliding panels move to allow you to pass through a ginormous walk-​in closet leading to the soaking tub, rain shower or European toilet with a bidet, or you can walk straight into your spacious room with a little pantry and mini bar. It’s the best layout I’ve ever seen.
We had dinner alone as the sun was setting on the palace side one night, and the food and service are impeccable. One night at tea they had dancers come out and tango. On a food note, I’m addicted to their Smoothie Balance with banana, cocoa, spinach and almond milk. I have it every breakfast with either oatmeal or whole grain toast with avocado.
But the staff here are amazingly sweet. They remember your names and just stop to chat even if they aren’t waiting on you. This hotel goes to great lengths to ensure its guests have absolutely no complaints.

«Jet-​Set, porque no puedo ser del Jet-​Set? Jet-​Set, yo solo quiero ser del Jet-​Set». Pasar una tarde en el Palacio Duhau es uno de los lujos que todos nos deberíamos dar en vida (como diría una tía vieja). Es un oasis de refinamiento al que podemos acceder de vez en cuando, y vale cada centavo de lo que cuesta. Desde el emplazamiento del lugar con ese jardín escalonado bellísimo, la calidad del servicio, la oferta gastronómica es cinco estrellas de punta a punta. Fuimos a tomar el té de la tarde con dos amigas con el consecuente desfile de exquisiteces: saladas (sandwichs de salmón en pan de centeno, de cangrejo con pepino), los tradicionales scons con crema batida y mermelada, y «final del fiesta» con pastelería que uno puede seleccionar previamente y copa de champagne Rutini. Como era el cumple de una de ellas muy amablemente nos trajeron un mini cheese cake con velita para que le podamos cantar el cumpleaños feliz y nos envolvieron en una hermosa «doggie bag» las tortitas que no habíamos comido (sé que es de pobre, pero créanme que Uds tampoco las hubieran dejado ;) En resumen, una experiencia veinte estrellas en un espacio de cinco.

This Hyatt is at the highest level.
3 nights here as start of Argentina holiday. Arrived jet lagged and they checked us in upon arrival at 9am. Almost like adding an extra night.
I have stayed at some of the top rated hotels around the world and this place is on par at that level.
We upgrade to a very large suite and actually spent too much time here because it is so exceptional.
It was a palace and still is a palace. Original art work of all types in all areas indoors and out.
Your whim is their demand. Cordless phone in room works throughout entire expansive property. Dial zero and someone is always ready to assist.
I could go on and on but it is superb in all ways. Yes it’s a splurge but something so special it’s worth every penny.
This is a palace that caters to its guests.

Desde el ingreso por las escalinatas de mármol, hasta la ambientación y la atención, todo huele a 5 estrellas.
Tuve la suerte de disfrutar de uno de los restaurants, el Duahu, que tiene a la cava en la antesala con una oferta exquisita de paltos. Todas las opciones era de comida regional con un toque gourmet. Yo cené un surubí con mandioca y verdura, y mi marido pidió carne con puré. Ademas de entrada pedimos una molleja que se cortaba con cuchara y de postre la degustación variada de la carta. Todo acompañado por un syrah de catena.
La carta tenía los platos individuales o el menú de 5 pasos, con o sin vino.
El servicio excelente, la calidez del ambiente impecable. Me quede con ganas de estar en las terrazas porque había un evento, así que quedará para una próxima vez!

Having stayed at a number of Park Hyatt, I think Hotel Palacio Duhau is certainly one of the best ones.
The establishment and the facility are almost perfect, the two hotel buildings are connecting by a beautiful courtyard where you can have dinner and host private event. The spa, fitness center, swimming pool, restaurant, business center, concierge, flower shop, art exhibition, hotel room, bar… etc are all 5 stars standard. The staff services are also very friendly and helpful. Overall, you pay for what you get.
The only few thing that I wasn’t particularly impressed were the checking-​in, treadmill in the gym and the breakfast. There were 3 check-​in desks and each desk had 1 person at the post, but only one desk was open to check in people and we had to wait for quite a long time. The treadmills were most likely for people who only want to watch TV, they were actually very fancy, got very nice TV on each of them. However, it only shows kilometers and no miles, and you can’t key in exactly the speed you want to run, you have to add 0.1 unit at a time, same with incline. So you want to do interval training, good luck with you. You end up pressing the bottom all the time. The breakfast was also a disappointment comparing to other 5 stars hotel, the choice was limited, when the food was running out, they don’t get replaced till a very long time, and I saw a big mosquito staying on the mango plate for a very long time, I actually tried to get it off but it wouldn’t leave. There was no staff came by to check food, so I think the mosquito stayed there at least for a few minutes. And it took at least 30 minutes for my omelette to turn up. I might sound picky, but i mean, when you stay in an almost perfect place, any imperfection stands out.
Nevertheless, it’s an excellent hotel, totally recommend it.

This hotel has amenities you didn’t think you needed:
Your personal hotel cell phone. So, you don’t have to wait around in your room or use your own roaming minutes for hotel requests, concierge services or calling each other just to whisper sweet nothings to.
Personal butler that fetched popcorn, batteries for things we brought that died and other bizarre small requests.
We are merely platinum Hyatt members so had early check in, late check out, free wifi (that worked), newspapers in English and fresh fruit.
We had first choice seating for any of the restaurants and a spa that I thoroughly abused.
The location is convenient to La Recoleta. We paused appropriately in front of Eva Peron and her families’s tombs and played a morbid game we had played at Pere Lachaise, with loser buying 2 rounds of drinks.
There are many cool boutique hotels and other monstrous size hotels in BA. There is, however, nothing like, American style hotels over seas: Showers that throws water down with a punch and with water that is clear. In this case, that consistent Hyatt hospitality training that lets you diva it up if you want with fresh towels, bed sheets that are sanitized and fresh, and over the top brunches on the weekend.
If lazy, the gift shop is a must. I ended up buying a pair of awesome hammered silver candlesticks and some other lovely souvenirs.
Place is a treat.

Tengo que decir que aquí pasé la mejor velada de mi vida, no solo porque celebré mi 6° aniversario con el amor de mi novia, tambien porque este lugar hizo mágico el momento en que mi novio me propuso matrimonio, no pudo ser mas espectacular.
El lugar muy romántico, espectacular, Son perfectas las mesas de la terraza a la luz de la vela, muy romántico, íntimo y perfecto para sentirse único con tu pareja en el lugar. Todo impecable.
El servicio el mejor, los meseros y quienes atienden no pueden dar mejor servicio, incluso me di cuenta que hablan en varios idiomas de forma muy fluida, que eso en realidad se ve muy poco buenos aires, hasta no se ve en los restaurantes de puerto madero. Además el personal super atento, siempre buscan que estés cómodo y feliz en el momento.
y la comida ESPECTACULAR, sencillamente divina. Lo mejor es que toman platos tradicionales como la milanesa, bondiola y el chivito y lo transforman en un plato muy gourmet y de un gusto delicioso. Las porciones se ven pequeñas pero en realidad te dejan bastante satisfecho por la forma de cocción de estas carnes, que según lo que me comentó quien nos atendió, llevan más de 5 horas de cocción.
este lugar hace todo perfecto para una gran velada romántica bajo la luz de la luna, hasta el más guacho se verá como un caballero al invitar a una dama a este restaurante.

So, we wanted to check out the hotel for future stays, as my husband had done a coffee take out at this hotel, and thought the service was excellent! Since it was a beautiful day, we thought we would sit outside for a coffee. Unfortunately, the restaurant we picked which was the middle courtyard would not allow us to occupy a table for only coffee and some pastries. First of all, I doubt there are many people occupying all the tables. Secondly, a couple having a coffee and pastry break would not be sitting there for ever, so I think as a Hyatt, you should acquiesce to your customer’s wishes and take into account if a person wanting to have a coffee break would not be taking up a table so the turn over would be quite quick and you would have gained your self a new customer and a great review. So to the pretentious young lady who does not do her job well, I think you need to re-​do your hospitality training again or be fired!

This hotel is gorgeous, it’s partially a restored palace and the underground connector between the two buildings doubles as an art gallery. Everyone should stay here at least a couple nights, it’s such an amazing experience. The surroundings are inspiring and they treat you like royalty.

Si de cocina internacional se trata, este es uno de los mejores restoranes a los que podes ir.
Desde que entras al hotel todo es servicio de primera calidad, hay obras de arte y esculturas por todos lados, las paredes están llenas de pinturas de artistas reconocidos y sus escaleras de mármol son alucinantes. Todo es lujo, clase y buen gusto.
Los jardines que tiene están impecablemente cuidados, hasta el más mínimo detalle está vigilado para que todo este en su correcto lugar.
Tuve la suerte de conocer a un Sommelier del restoran así que entré a la cava de vinos y a la de quesos, y pude apreciar (de lejos) muchas etiquetas mundiales reconocidísimas.
Desde que entré hasta que salí la experiencia fue totalemente sensorial, la comida es increible, los platos tienen un nivel de elaboración que en pocos lugares se encuentra y la calidad es la mejor. Probé el cordero (que no necesitás un cuchillo para cortarlo) con una salsa agridulce de moras y ciruelas espectacular, y de postre probé los bombones que hacen allí mismo con un café colombiano espectacular.
Los precios son altísimos, como es de esperarse, pero no me sorprende, porque desde que llegás hasta que te vas el lujo es el denominador común de todo lo que puedas hacer y probar en este hotel.

Llegar al Park Hyatt es de ensueño. Desde los alrededores hasta el hotel en sí. Tan europeo y lujoso como él solo.
Es un lugar realmente de la realeza. Tomar el té en Duhau es algo que hay que vivir por uno mismo. Si te lo cuentan no lo crees.
La fachada es imponente. La arquitectura que tiene este lugar es magnífica. Es Europa hecha edificio. Mejor dicho, hecha calle. Alvear inspira eso.
Desde los pisos, las paredes, los techos, la decoración, las arañas de pedrería, las mesas, la vajilla, todo te hace sentir en un palacio de Europa.
Los jardines son tan perfectos que no alcanzan los ojos para ver. El pasto pareciera recién cortado y pintado parejo con un color verde fuerte. Majestuoso.
El edificio está inspirado en el Château du Marais de Francia.
Piano Nobile es uno de los 3 restaurantes que se encuentran en el Hotel Palacio Duhau.
Acá se puede tomar el té al estilo inglés, con scons, pattiserie y blends propios.
El servicio es muy bueno, muy correcto. Es un lugar para ir con tiempo, disfrutar del ambiente y un desayuno de lo más lujoso.
La comida en sí es riquísima pero como todo lugar refinado, las porciones son pequeñas. Es bueno para probar un poco de todo pero en (muy) pequeñas cantidades.
Es un lugar para ir en una ocasión especial y quedar muy bien.
El precio es acorde al lugar. No sería descabellado pagar $ 400 por un desayuno.
Vale la pena ir aunque sea una vez y vivir la experiencia.

No sé ni como empezar a definir este restaurante, es una cosa de otro mundo.
Ya de por si el edificio del Park Hyatt es un sueño, al igual que el resto de las mansiones que se ven a medida que uno se acerca por la Avenida Alvear.
Nosotros fuimos a cenar, así que lamentablemente no pudimos ver los famosos jardines del palacio. Ni bien entrás está la vinoteca en dónde hay una extensísima colección de vinos argentinos que una vez que elegís los platos te recomiendan según lo que hayas pedido.
Nosotros pedimos de entrada provoleta de queso de cabra, que estaba riquísima, de plato principal lomo de cordero patagónico con batata rellena, compota de cebollas y salsa de oporto (otra exquisitez) y de postre crème brûlée.
La carta ofrece opciones muy diversas y es todo tan rico que mi consejo es que vayan y prueben lo que les llame la atención, porque seguro les va a gustar. Aunque su especialidad son las carnes y los quesos, así que tenganlo en cuenta.
La atención es excelentísima: todo el tiempo teníamos a alguien preguntándonos si nos hacía falta algo, si queríamos algo más, etc. Muy muy muy recomendado.
