Total perfection on cocking point. The way you ask it, is exactly the way you wet it. Sadly, the meat has no flavor at all. It is soft and perfectly cocked, but flavorless. The potatoes had no salt nor flavor either. I wouldn’t come back.

After having our reservation canceled and being treated rudely at La Cabrera, we decided to walk to nearby Lo De Jesus instead. I was in a bad mood from the La Cabrera experience but I started to lighten up a bit when we were seated immediately by a bubbly hostess. We started with a reasonably priced Malbec and a Caesar salad. The dressing was the real deal. For my entrée I had a tenderloin served medium-rare and cooked to absolute perfection. This was the highlight of my meal and hands down the most delicious steak I’ve ever had in my life. We topped it off with a delicious apple pastry with ice cream for dessert. Our total bill was about $ 75USD total for the two of us. Overall incredible culinary experience. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for the true Argentina steakhouse experience. Skip the overcrowded and touristy La Cabrera and go here instead.

We went here after waiting in line for 40 minutes and having our reservation canceled at La Cabrera. We were happy to be greeted by a friendly hosted and waitress after the sub-par service we received at La Cabrera. We each got a sirloin steak, shared fries and a Cesar salad. Everything was prepared perfectly and the service was stellar. Highly recommend.

In a sea of steak houses this stands out as a cut above the rest… Get it? The ribeye was perfectly cooked, seasoned and an incredible cut of meat. My husband got the sirlion strip with a black pepper cream sauce, which he rated as the best meal he had in the city. The wine, altos de hormigas, was incredible and a good price. Both cuts were generous, and no one left hungry. Even the tropical salad was well done, plenty to for two. Between excellent service and even better food, its a must for any trip to Palmero! Highly recommend!

I got back here today after 18 months of being away. Oh how much I missed this place and all that it represents to me! I went with Bife de Chorizo, Rucola salad and a glass of Malbec. I think I definitely prefer the way they prepare lomo.(Tenderloin) Overall it’s still good and I am happy to have my own welcome to Argentina lunch here!

This is a typical Argentine steak house and it’s as good as Cabrera next door(which in my view is overrated). Happily full of locals on a Tuesday night. And as a plus, it opens early if you have small kids, like me.

The food and wine selection is excellent. The owner is a very gracious host who makes a point of speaking to all guests; and speaks impeccable English. We had the steak with Malbec sauce and Grilled Peca(fish). Everything was perfectly done and delicious. The only reason why I didn’t give this restaurant 5* is because they forgot something that I had ordered bit they were so nice about it it didn’t matter. Strongly recommend.

We were waited on by the owner, who speaks perfect English. He recommended the fillet, which we ordered butterfly cut, half medium rare and half rare. The medium rare half came out more like medium, but it was a delicious steak and plenty of food for two people. The salad was rather wilted and the creamed spinach was full of mayo, but the wine list was good. Overall nice experience with solid steak.

I was impressed by the place. To say The truth, we were trying to go to Cabrese because it had more and much better reviews. However when we got there, there was s 45 min wait(Latin time :)) and it was late, like 9:45pm already so we decided to walk back to this great place. They welcomed us like we were their friends. The place was packed but not overwhelming. The patio were very very well heated, I was surprised. We still decided to eat inside. The hostess is French, her name is Zoe and she definitely made all the difference in our night. We are both French Canadian so we asked her for recommendation as far meal, wine, options, dessert etc. Everything she recommended was spot on!!! Diego was our server, he was amazing and didn’t mind that we ask him to get Zoe back at our table to get dessert recommendation :) We went out for steak, we were craving good quality Argentinian meat. And we were served perfectly there! She made the conscious decision to share the«limo» meat after seeing the other plates. The meat was so tender that Diego our server, cut the piece of meat in 2 with 2 spoons!!! The meat was cooked to perfection! No complains about this place and I would definitely go back!!! Try it! PS this restaurant is located in the trendy Palermo 2 streets from our apartment, perfect location!

We had a wonderful meal in buenos aires outside on the sidewalk. We had the typical argentine steak and I had french fries though I am pretty sure I ordered grilled potatoes. Whatever. The guy who seemed to manage or own the place speaks perfect English. It is on the pricey side for buenos aires but worth the adventure.

This restaurant is in a nice location away from the hustle and bustle. The service is spot on and very friendly. Had the chorizo which was the best I ever had! The steak was great too!

A boring dining experience. I’m happy to get to use the term, Resting on One’s Laurels, because it must be true in this case. 60 years they’ve been at it! The lomo was huge and perfectly cooked, but a bit on the«it had no damn flavor at all» side. The salad was exceedingly boring: iceberg lettuce, tomato, white onion and dirt. Someone forgot to wash the vegetables, either that or they prefer not to interfere with the Gout de Terroir, though i’m fairly certain that’s not the intended meaning. The water was very good, so too the arroz con leche.

No volvería.
