Ordered the Bife de Lomo medium rare with rice. Waiter let it sit on the opposite table in front of me for 15 minutes. Eventually brought it to me and it was well done. Then went to the kitchen to get the rice and came back with fries. It was 4pm on Saturday, so really quiet in he restaurant and not busy. Real shame. Waiter asked me three times to leave a cash tip at the end of the meal, unfortunately with an overcooked steak and the wrong side dish he’s s&@# out of luck

Based on the reviews and proximity of our hotel we decided to try this asador. We tried the bife de lomo(tenderloin) and the bife de chorizo(sirloin). Both well prepared(medium rare) and huge. This together with excellent empanadas, fries and some good red wine made the meal complete. The steaks were juicy and full of flavor especially the bife de chorizo. As we had such a good meal we decided to go for a second time the next day. We ordered the argentina parrilada for two. Wow, this was enough for 4 people. Especially the blood saucage, sweet breads, pork sacauge and chicken were delicious. We can recommend this asador the everybody. It is not the cheapest in town but the quality of the meat one of the best we tasted in a long time.

This place has been consistently amazing since I’ve been there the first time seven years ago. Steaks are of the highest quality; matter of fact, La Estancia have their own cattle ranch and will only use meat out of their own production. And it shows… The meats are fantastic! My number one recommendation is the Bife di lomo(Tenderloin); so tender it will melt in your mouth. The sides are great too: Salads, fries, empanadas; but don’t order too much, the steaks are huge! The wine selection is great too, Malbec’s from a lot of Argentinas best Wineries, plus a good selection of Cabernets, Shiraz and Merlots. Every time I went the place has been packed, and mostly locals. Always a good sign. All in all highy recommended!

Wonderful restaurant for great Argentinian meat of all kinds. I was first directed to this local by a local, very shortly after moving to this city. When I asked where the eating is good, he unhesitatingly named La Estancia. Not long afterwards I went, simply ordering bife de chorizo per his recommendation. It was fabulous, and ever since then, it has been the restaurant that comes to mind by default when I think of excellent dining on perfectly-prepared Argentinian meat. Although more pricey than many alternatives, La Estancia is more than worth it for its inviting atmosphere, personable service, and fabulous menu. The parrilla includes not only all the standards, but also many delightful options that are not readily found elsewhere. One experience that I’ve always remembered was my second or third time here, in which I ordered goat. I was shocked. Along with the chimichurri and the glass wine that accompanied my meal, it provoked a peak moment of flavor euphoria that I had never experienced in my life.

I’m Argentinean and I know my way around the traditional«asado». This place is on another level. The chimichurri is absolutely perfect. The bife de lomo was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The lettuce/tomato/onion salad was perfectly seasoned(salt-oil-vinegar) and tasted like heaven. The fries are thick and hand-cut and perfectly salted. This is now my favorite place to dine in Buenos Aires.

Great Argentine Parrilla. Fantastic old world service by professional waiters run expertly by Lorenzo. Very good empanadas come with each meal and they serve the best chimichuri sauce in BA. All meats cooked to perfection. Large steaks. No, really large steaks, and I’m from Texas. Bife de Lomo recommended. Getting tired of red meat? Ask for the boneless half chicken from the grill. It’s superb. Chicken is free range. Dessert? Share a crêpe with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream. Wine prices are more than reasonable. Only shortcoming are the salads.
