This tiny bakery counter is located just inside the Edeka Markt. They offer big loaves of the hearty, healthy, delicious bread the Germans like (and so do I). There are also rolls and some croissants too. Bonus for having pretzel rolls — delicious!
Relatively reasonable prices with 2 rolls for € 1. Both tasted fresh, not dry and made nice sandwiches later. Speaking of sandwiches… one of the things I love about Germany is the pre made sandwiches avaiable all over. They make a quick and cheap meal. Well, this bakery didn’t have any but it may have been a reflection on when I visited (Saturday afternoon).
