Hotel Ibis

Ich kann mich anschliessen. Der Zweckmäßigkeithalber ist es vollkommen okay. Die Zimmer und Flure haben ein sehr in die Tage gekommenes Design, was dem Komfort keinen Abbruch tut. Das bett ist sehr bequem. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Unsere Tür klemmte leider etwas aber was bezwingbar. Besonders hervorheben würde ich gern das lustige und nette Team bei dem wir eingecheckt haben. Das Frühstück allerdings muss ich bemängeln. Für zehn Euro hätte ich in der Stadt frischer und ausgefallener gefrühstückt.

It was a rather last minute booking by the airdesk for an overnight after signing off the ship, but it’s a comfortable place to lay my head, this Ibis. ~10 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof on foot, the location is easily accessible. There’s a massive, leafy (ahem) traffic circle out my window but besides the occasional air brakes and car horn all is quiet. Parking deck below, not that I need it. My room is spacious, clean, modern but simple, warm earth tones — Scandic minimalist? The bathroom is tiny — shower, no tub — but really for the price I’d say this is a deal. I got the businessman special on check-​in, which is 13 Euros for breakfast in the morning and wifi internet. All it all I’m pleased.
